Hi, my name is Reni and I am from Germany.
I have spent the last 17 years working for different international hotels (mainly Hilton and Marriott) in five countries.
While studying I have developed an interest in getting to know the world and different cultures and became eager to learn more and more.
After years of working for hotels, I wanted to start something on my own. Due to my background I had the idea to do hotel consulting as so many hotels still don’t have a great social media strategy, or worse, still don’t use social media at all. What a huge missed opportunity.
But then the pandemic hit.
While being stuck at home, I used the time reading a lot and exploring some new hobbies like cooking and sewing. While reading online about my new hobbies, I came across some websites offering interesting email newsletters and so I subscribed to many of them.
And it was amazing!
All of a sudden I did not have to go on each website to look for news and tips anymore. I received them automatically and regularly in my inbox and could read whenever and wherever I had a moment.
What a great option! To this day I am still receiving a lot of different newsletters! Newsletters are such a fantastic tool for any business! Large businesses usually have newsletters, because they know how effective they can be. This is why we are now focusing on newsletters for local businesses.
Every great business should have a great email newsletter.

Since I started travelling the world I realised how much I loved hotels. I dreamed about one day owning a small boutique hotel or bed & breakfast somewhere picturesque. I haven’t found the perfect place for my hotel yet, but I am still looking.
I started subscribing to newsletters around 2008 for all kinds of interesting topics. From financial news, to project management and IT and all kinds of technology news.
Unfortunately there are not many local business newsletters. Those we found, are mostly promotional and nothing else. We are going to change that. Small business owners and hoteliers should use all their expertise to inspire their current and future customers. Newsletters are perfect for that.
